Details

We provide mica tape that features good windability with coils of generators, rotary machines, and electric motors, and is used for insulation systems for high-voltage coils.

Features
  • (1) Dry mica tape has great impregnating ability.
  • (2) Prepreg mica tape is made only by heat pressing and can be integrally molded.
  • (3) It has great windability to adhere to coils because of its good flexibility and excellent wrapping ability.
  • (4) Including corona resistance, it provides excellent electric insulation.
  • (5) It has excellent heat resistance and may be used even for high heat resistance classes (former class F, class H, etc.).
Usages
  • (1) Insulation for various types of high-voltage coils, such as those used in generators, electric motors, rotary machines, etc.
  • (2) Insulation between slot cells and coils.
  • (3) Insulation between layers of high-voltage equipment.
